The Makeup Show/Los Angeles

As a Pro MUA, I attend a few makeup "conventions" during the year. These shows are full of incredible information, hands-on workshops and classes and I get to shop for my professional makeup kit and personal makeup bag at major discount prices! Who doesn't love that?

I have been a professional makeup artist for almost 25 years and going back to makeup school to keep abreast of current trends isn't something that is easy for me to do with my family responsibilities and running my own business. Taking several weeks off from shooting would be a hardship on me financially so instead, I attend The Makeup Show put on by the Pro artists at The Powder Group. I am able to take several classes, workshops and watch live demonstrations within a two-day period, which updates my techniques and skill level, as well as gives me up-to-date information on the latest makeup artist information in the fields of television, film, photography, live events and bridal!
